Ames'® Super Primer is a unique, elastomeric, penetrating plastic sealant, primer and adhesive for concrete, stucco, and many hard-to-stick surfaces. It is a pure acrylic designed especially to seal and create adhesion to concrete and stucco.

Stucco is a porous concrete that water can penetrate. Super Primer penetrates deeply into stucco to actually bind with the surface it is being applied to. It plasticizes and waterproofs stucco. Plasticizing strengthens the surface by binding the primer to the stucco on the molecular level. Rotting and deteriorating surfaces can be restored to a somewhat new condition and often the surface life can be extended for one or more years of usefulness.

Super Primer strengthens and helps preserve surfaces from mildew and moss formation, and helps substantially to stop concrete efflorescence. With up to 100 to 300% elasticity, Super Primer is able to move with the surface as it expands and contracts. Super Primer is highly resistant to cracking and peeling.

It is easy to apply, simply roll, brush, or spray it on. Super Primer is pearlescent white in liquid form, and dries to a clear finish. Super Primer dries rapidly to a slight tack in 10 - 20 minutes at 70 degrees Fahrenheit, and even faster with sun contact.

Ames'® Block & Wall™

Ames'® Block & Wall is the highest quality acrylic plastic waterproofing coating on the market today. It paints as it waterproofs, and is tintable to pastel colors. It is elastomeric.

Ames' Block & Wall is a waterproofing sealant for exterior walls, and is excellent for stucco. It stops leaks fast. It is heavy duty yet easily applied by brush, roller, or sprayer, and it dries to form a waterproof seal and vapor barrier to keep water and moisture out. This elastomeric sealant and block filler expands and contracts up to 500%. It is highly resistant to cracking and peeling, and remains flexible even at -35°F.

Block & Wall is ideal for stucco and is generally applied with Ames Super Primer, a clear coating that has a remarkable affinity for concrete and stucco. Block & Wall covers tar coated walls, brick or block walls, interior and exterior basement walls, pre-treated plywood, sheet metal, plastic, pre-cast concrete, sheetrock, wood, and drywall. Block & Wall waterproofing paint is a lasting investment for your project. Unlike many other types of products, this product completely blocks water seepage.

Block & Wall is formulated to resist fungus, mold, and mildew. This product is potable water compliant.

Clear Seal™

WHAT IS CLEAR SEAL?
Ames® Research Laboratories' Clear Seal is a unique, semi-clear elastomeric plastic sealant and adhesive for wood and concrete. It penetrates deeply into wood and concrete to glue and bind together the molecules of the surface it is being applied to. Rotting and deteriorating surfaces can be restored to a somewhat new condition and often the surface life can be extended for one or more years of usefulness.

Clear Seal helps prevent concrete efflorescence. More than a water repellent, Clear Seal penetrates deeply into concrete to seal against water damage and seepage. With 300% elasticity, Clear Seal is able to move with the surface as it expands and contracts. Clear Seal is highly resistant to cracking and peeling and will seal wood and concrete for many years.

Ease of application makes Clear Seal perfect for the ‘Do-It-Yourselfer’. It dries rapidly to a beautiful, semi-clear, semi-glossy finish. Clear Seal may foam if applied with a brush. Spray application is recommended.

Clear Seal is water base, nearly odorless, non-flammable, and contains no dangerous pesticides. Clear Seal may be applied to most previously coated surfaces.
