Good product as long as one want gray color
I ordered block and wall as a water proofer for a retaining wall. The product worked well. That is, the coverage was quite good and I would say the companies estimates are conservative. It is very resilient and sticks well to most surfaces as long as there is not much moisture content. Unfortunately, ones hands is what it seems to stick to the best. I have not observed any long term results, but I suspect this product will work well over the long term. One big negative is the color. I chose one that was dark and as close to the other color on the structure. Well, the color received was not even close to the color shown on the website. It was gray. When asked about receiving the wrong color, Ames management says read our disclaimers. In short, I think this is a fine product as long as a certain color or close to it is not needed.

Just as good as the Blue stuff
This product works just as well as the Blue Max but they have it in different colors!

Problematic Condition with my House
Dining room 15x20 addition, block on slab, circa ~1960 backfilled about 4’. Impossible to remove backfill & seal exterior due to huge slope. Furring strips w/Sheetrock & flooring was ruined due to water penetration from waterseal failure. Appeared to be Drylock. Wirebrushed & cleaned interior block. Did the recommended adhesion test. It failed. Primed the surface & did the test again, all good. Primed the wall & applied 4 coats of Ames Block & Wall. The material went on great & penetrated & sealed the pores in the block extremely well. Very good coverage per gallon. I was pleasantly surprised. As I don’t want any further issues, I did the 4 coats. Basically the wall now has an integral contiguous rubber barrier to fend off any permeation of water. After seeing this product I have a high degree of confidence that I will not have any issues going forward, none. I intend on purchasing another 5gal jug with which to seal my basement. I would not hesitate to recommend Ames Block & Wall.

It’s great stuff paint it on or roll it even spray it make sure surfaces are clean and when applying do coats the thin let dry and do it again is best way to make it work

Really good stuff worth the money I've used it on various projects an never disappointed me.. Awesome
